On the occasion of Angkor Sankranti 2017, the Boxing Federation of Cambodia has published a book that took more than 20 years of research to compile this book to document and sell to Cambodian children at a very low price.
San Kim Sean, president of the Cambodian Bokator Federation and compiler of the book "Bokator" at the Golden Krama level, described this as the first time his federation had printed the book. Which describes the basic martial arts of the top Khmer bokator martial arts.
Please be informed that this publication is for the purpose of widely disseminating to the public, national and international to know about the heritage of bokator. In addition, it is possible to teach Cambodian children or those who love this martial art to practice on their own. And most importantly, this book is proof that his federation has sent it to UNESCO as a document for a request to list bokator as an intangible cultural heritage of humankind.
He added that the book costs only 28,000 riel, which has a detailed description of the tricks and accompanying pictures, and the first trial print has a total of 3,000 copies.
